Mine helped rekindle the coaster flame so to speak...and coasters have helped us keep our flame kindled. :)

Wait, it is a big deal that you rode with a stranger? That happens to me if I am only with one friend on a B&M or I am with a group of three and have o ride single.

LOL this is funny, but true. I was in the line for the Raptor a couple years back. No one from my class wanted to get in line, so I did by myself. I'm not gonna let that stop me! hehe... so, I get in line and wait and wait and wait. This girl ahead of me was alone as well, so we started talking. She told me that she had never been on any coaster that went upside down. So we talked the whole time. We ended up sitting next to each other. I had to comfort her and reassure her that this was a fun coaster. Going up the lift, she grabbed my hand and started to slowly squeeze the blood from it, LOL... She kept saying, "oh god, oh god... are you sure this is safe??" Then came the drop, she screamed and yelled. My hand lost feeling even before the inline twist. hehe.. afterwards we walked around together. She was really cool. But I haven't talked to her since :( if you're out there on coasterbuzz, let me know! :)

yes, for the past year and a half all the coaster i've been on have been with my man. he's the one who turned me into a coasterfreak, and the one who brought coasterbuzz to my attention. Its soooo much fun getting on a coaster with him, i feel free, i'm able to enjoy the ride without feeling paranoid because theres a stranger sitting next to me. go figure we both be coasterfanatics we worked together at dorney in '99 its a long romantic story, I love him, and maybe we'll be married on a rollarcoaster on day, or at least in Hershey.:)

Well, it was a school field trip last year, and I had decided to walk around in a small group with the girl I had a crush on, her friend, and my friend.
We went on Logger's Run, and that was a pretty 'refreshing' experience ;).
After that I suggested to go and ride on the Whizzer, and I am VERY glad I did. :)
The rest of the day I was happy :)

Yes, with my wife. On our honeymoon. May 1983. We did a California trip (San Francisco, Yosemite, Big Sur) and we just happened to visit the Santa Cruz boardwalk. We also just happened to ride the woodie there. I wasn't into coasters much back then, but I liked them. We boarded, front car, no one else in the station, only ones on the train. The ride op struck up a conversation to give some time for any other riders to arrive. The subject of us being newlyweds came up and immediately this guy said "enjoy" and sent us on our way to let us have a "private moment" on the coaster. And by then others had just come onto the station. Afterward, those riders weren't upset (one train running)...they actually cheered and gave "congrats" to us and stuff; the ride op had told them. I will never forget it (obviously). It was one of those unexpected nice experiences, what the ride op did, the ride and the people at the end. I knew I had just had a great coaster ride, too, but I knew nothing then about the famous Santa Cruz Giant Dipper. I sure got a thrill in more ways than one.

My first date with Laura was to SFAmerica, the following season proposed to her on BoulderDash, and all vacations and time off have been spent riding coasters.
Getting married October 6th and we are trying to set up a day before the marriage to invite friends, family, and people who we can't invite to the church & reception. When we figure the date out, we will post an invitation on CoasterBuzz and hopefully get to meet some of you on BoulderDash at Lake Compounce. Maybe we can do a CoasterBuzz or ACE event, so we can share that day with the wonderful people we have met while coasting.
P.S. Plan to do a coaster trip to California for a honeymoon at a later date. I've never been to California, and both of us are anxious to experience the coasters of the West.
