I recall going on a family trip to Geneva-on-the-Lake as a youngster, and there being a coaster involved in the trip. I asked my parents if they had any idea what I was thinking of, and it turns out that their memory is even foggier than mine. They don't even remember taking me to a park at Geneva-on-the-Lake.
Am I imagining things, or was there once a wooden coaster at a Geneva-on-the-Lake park?

I don't think they "ever" had a wood coaster. Theres just no room. Its a nice little park if you like the vintage rides. They have Ohios only Roll-O-Plane and Octopus and they have a portable flying scooter.
The Brat is fun.
Current ride list at Erieview consists of the following: Roll-O-Plane, Eli Ferris Wheel, Flying Scooters, Dodgem, the Fright Zone dark ride, an inflatable Titanic slide, a train ride along the rear edge of the park, the Octopus (single-tub model), a Tilt-A-Whirl, and several kiddie rides. There is also a twin-flumed waterslide located right next to the park.
Be sure to get the fries from Times Square Grille (adjacent to the dark ride). They rank as some of the best I've had and you get a LOT of them.
