Well, what a weekend! My friend Brian and I left Fostoria, Ohio around 4:35 p.m. Thursday night, and got into the Marina Entrance about 6:15. We then hit Gemini (front seat), Millennium Force, and Magnum twice (once in the front). All were great rides and never a disappointment! Walking along the beach that night heading back to Lighthouse Point was very windy. We met up with my parents and went to McDonolds on the Causeway. They don't have great service (like I heard), but the food was OK. Lighthouse Point is awesome, but the muffleheads are horrible! There were tons of them inside the kitchen of our cabin.
After about 2 or 3 hours of sleep, Brian and I woke up and headed off to the Camper Village office to call up a shuttle. We waited in the rain forever for the bus, but it finally came and dropped us off at the main gate. After we purchased our tickets and received our buttons, we sat out of the rain in the Point Pavilion. Finally ERT began and we went off to Blue Streak where we was the first ones to ride, first train, front row. It was a great way to start off our day! We ended up with 2 Blue Streak rides in 5 minutes. Leaving Blue Streak and walking towards Raptor, we met up with Eric (coast on GTTP), and his friends. We sat there on the midway and talked for a while then rode Raptor sitting in the last row, right side. Awesome and very intense! Had a walk-on on Banshee with 3 rides and back to Raptor to end the morning ERT.
Made a lap on Millennium Force where we met RideMan and someone else from GTTP I think (I can't remember the name). Then off to Magnum. The presentation in the Convention Center was neat and very interesting. I loved the Millennium Force movie! A lot of good questions were asked and good answers to go with them. Before the presentation, Coast and I met Jeffrey Spartan and MagnumDan (I feel like I met a celebrity;)).
After a few rides on Demon Drop, and Magnum, we went to the free lunch around 2:30. They had some great food! Leaving lunch we met Anne and RaptorJo (I again feel like I met a celebrity;)). Then it was off to Blue Streak and some ice cream in the Ice Cream Parlor. Riding Iron Dragon, then walking along Frontier Trail, we went on a fun ride on White Water Landing, then Mean Streak. This was around 5:30 and we jumped in line for a 45 minute wait for the Force.
Brian and I walked back to the cabin for a while and met back up with Eric and his friends after a ride on Gemini. For supper, we bought some fries and a Pepsi, and rode Woodstock Express and Gemini once more. Ending the Cedar Point leisure time with a ride on Raptor was great!
ERT at night was simply amazing! The longest I waited for Magnum was 15 minutes, then down to a walk-on! Everyone in the Magnum station was so enthusiastic and was loving every second! It was fun watching all the Magnum fanatics and GTTP'ers being all crazy! Ended up with 9 ERT Magnum rides and 1 Force ride.
CoasterMania was definitely the best times I have ever had at Cedar Point and I cannot wait until next year's! It was great meeting most of you and hope to see you again!
