Enthusiasts Under Scrutiny: The Masses At Risk Bec

The incident at Holiday World where a coaster enthusiast was killed has both coaster enthusiasts and park staff on edge. Coaster enthusiasts are now under tight scrutiny and park staff and management are keeping very close watch on all coaster riders.

For those enthusiasts who may not already know, the woman killed in the Holiday World incident was a member of American Coaster Enthusiasts. It is clear that ACE is clearly upset with this development. It is also clear to understand that the vast majority of ACE members are honest coaster enthusiasts, who obey park rules and ride their coasters in a safe and professional manner. It is unfortunate that the few ACE members who choose to ignore or defeat safety devices tarnish the image of the entire club because of their actions. The incident at Holiday World only hammers this point home all the more clearly. Why should the vast majority suffer because of the few who defy park rules and/or safety devices?

You know, those safety restraints are there for a reason. Yeah, they're a little annoying and maybe uncomfortable, but hey, they're there so you can run back in line and get back on your favorite coaster again.
