Come one guys! You've said it in over 50 posts in over 50 ways! I mean sure, CP might have been out of line in disputing Superman as a coaster and Six Flags might be being unfair about adding three coasters, but sorry but just get a life! It's getting annoying that its tying up these forums. Please people let's talk about something else!

I think I'll take this moment to remind you that we are not forcing you by any means to read them.
There are a lot of other posts for you to read if you don't want to read about CP or SFMM

Scorching the Competition in 2001

I agree these people are wasting too much forum space on a dead issue. I personally don't give a crap who is the coaster capital in the friggin world. Just ride the damn things and be happy. This topic is making me hurl!!!! There are hundreds of parks out there not owned by Six Flags or Cedar Fair, let's chat about them or maybe some chat about parks no longer here but gave us great memories. Boardwalk and Baseball just to name one. Anyone have any good memories of this Florida Park?
Hey wait up, you guys still need to realize that SFMM and Cedar Point are the two top thrill parks in the world (according to many). It's a fact that people love to talk about the best. Compared to the SFMM/CP scenario, other parks are just not that interesting enough to talk about right now. I'm not trying to bring up the debate again, but I'm just telling you guys that trying to force people to stop doin this will not succeed. I personally don't have a problem with people posting as they wish. If I don't like it, I don't read it.
Cedar Point stills has the record(for the time being).Cedar Point has 14 SFMM has 12. Correct me if I am wrong SFMM won't have all three coasters open by Cedar Point opening day(May 4 or 5). That allows Cedar Point to market the 2001 season having the most coasters.I will have to say that I am 99% sure that Cedar Point will not add a coaster for 2001.It takes over 6 months to build and design the smallest kind of coaster. Think about that means if Cedar Point adds a coaster for 2001 it won't open to AFTER opening day. If Cedar Point adds one or more coasters in 2002 it will allow Cedar Point to have the coaster/s open by 2002 opening day.
Well that is just my two cents. I love Cedar Point and SFMM. They are both great parks. I care less about records. But I think coaster fans will benefit from this. The reason I say this is because it starts a battle to build MORE coasters.
