English person needing help !!!!

I live in London England, and i have a problem well more of a worry. It is now the school summer hols in the UK, and i will be visiting Florida for my holiday (vacation)i plan to go to two theme parks Busch Gardens and IOA, my worry is that will there be so many people at these parks i will only get one ride for the whole day, or is this really not as bad as imagine it will be, any tips on how to get around the ques and which days to go on ?. Also us English are not quite as accustomed to the hot weather, any tips for keeping cool in the ques ? Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx Puggy

Well, it seems to rain everyday in central Florida, so it'll feel a little like London. ;)

Seriously though, it will likely be busy, but those parks seem to have a way of keeping people moving (or so the trip reports say).

To stay cool, drink lots of water. Not soda, but water. Make it a point to drink far more than you would otherwise. Sure, you'll sweat just the same, but staying hydrated will keep you peppy.

At IOA Dueling Dragons, Doctor Doom's Fearfall, and Hulk all have indoor ques. Spiderman's lines will get long so go on that early. Dueling Dragons has a big capacity so it should not be that bad.

Busch Gardens' ques on their coasters are pretty well shaded, especially at Montu, Kumba, and Gwazi.

Seven more days to "feel the Force" and counting down!
I found a good way to cool off in Florida is to just go into the Men's Room and stick your head under a faucet. Repeat every hour. It works wonders. As far as the parks, GET THERE #) MINUTES BEFORE OPENING AND GO FOR THE TOP RIDES IMMEDIATELY! For IOA it's Spiderman and Hulk (in that order). IOA opens at 7 am if you have a multiday pass, if not you have to wait until 9 am. Same with Busch. Hit Gwazi first (both sides)as it is the slowest loading coaster they have due to having to check everyones seatbelts, then they circle again and check lapbars, so it takes twice as long. Then immediately head for Montu. The hottest times of day are between noon and 5 pm so start dunking your head after lunch. It's the best way to beat the heat.
Yes I recommend getting the Universal Express card. And when you do, get there at 7 and ride Spiderman. It worked for me and there was no line at all. Later in the day the queue filled up all the way to the outside. And that was even in April. And if you're in the mood, do Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls. Lines will get long, especially when it's hot. So do it early. Same with Jurassic Park (I rode this one 11 times in a row with my Universal Express pass!) But as for Busch Gardens, I never got a chance to get there. But hopefully I will get to go there again this spring to do BGT, Sea World (Kraken!), and Universal.

Thanx for all the help guys, any more suggestions ? How much does this express pass cost and what does it do exactly ?

Thanx
The express pass lets you go to both IOA and Universal Studios for two days (they don't have to be consecutive and you can go back and forth from park to park). I believe they are about $74 but I may be mistaken. I think they may still be offering a discount if you order them online at the Universal site.
