Enchanted Village Rides

What are some of the rides you would like to see in the future at EV. Coasters, water rides, flat rides, whatever. You can't say woodie, because EV is getting one next year.

I would like to see

-Rapids Ride (maybe in the Northwest themed area)

-Boomerang to replace Wild Thing

-Hypercoaster (if they ever get the height limit raised)

-B&M floorless

-Jungle theming for the Konga River at Wild waves (palm trees, tropical bushes, etc.) Personally I'm getting tired of circling around lava rocks!

-I would also like to get a dark ride of some kind, you know, a unique ride to the park.

-B&M Floorless maybe a clone of Dark Knight

-Impluse since V2 was changed

-S:ROS New England clone or any hypercoaster from Intamin

Top 5: 1)MF, 2)Goliath, 3)Magnum XL 200, 4)Medusa(West), 5)Raptor

I think they could really make an impact with a B&M flying coaster, although it is admittedly a longshot. I would love to see them toss in an impulse, but again, I doubt it. I think we are going to see the new woodie, and a smaller B&M. I imagine we will see something right at the height limit. A floorless (think clone of Medusa) or perhaps a smaller speed coaster, ala Kumba (what I'd like to see the most).

No matter what, it's all good. It's about time we got something nearby.

I can fix anything.....where is the duct tape?

Hello All,

I'd like to see Alpengeist recreated .... but at least a few feet taller on the first drop!!!

Six Flags has their work cut out for them on this park. The issue is getting people to attend for the "Enchanted Village" portion of the park. So far Klondike Goldrusher and the "other ride that is never open" have FAILED to draw parkgoers to the back of the park. The vast majority of paying peolpe go for the "Wild Waves" section of the park.

It is obvious that this park has Six Flags a bit confused about what this region GP expects from a park. BUT! They ARE paying attention! There was a pile of sand, I think they let sit on the side as a way to store it, and the GP (little kids) found it great fun to play on. This time I noticed the park added a plastic crab and a palm tree to make it look like an attraction. There were indeed more people enjoying the pile of sand then last time.

Six Flags NEEDS to do SOMETHING to get guests out of the water section of the park and onto dry ground attractions. UP the capacity of Wild Thing, and add two more REAL coasters nearby would really help. This would help increase the revenue from the food vendors nearby also.

If Six Flags is serious about this park, they HAVE to add some updated rides to the back section of the park.

I don't want Enchanted Village to build something after the woodie my friend moved from Jackson(NJ) to the town that Enchanted Village is in.

Well if they would get rid of their carnival rides, that have been the park's only thrills all these years, we might be getting somewhere. Most rides at EV are kiddie rides and carnival rides. Replace those with actual quality rides. Doesn't have to be a coaster, but something that just can't be found in any old carnival! That's why I think that Lumberjack falls is going to be a hit, because regardless of the fact it's just a basic shoot-the-chutes, it actually is going to look good.

I must say that I am not quite sure that the new woodie is going to be a hit. Just because everyone here automatically assumes that it will be a wooden coaster means that it is "weak." A new steel coaster(hyper, B&M, Boomerang, etc) would definetely draw a crowd.

Adding a steel coaster would indeed up the ante, but we shall see what madness is afoot. Upon opening, we will know where EV stands for its future. :) I see great things for this park, personally....

You are welcome, Ron! :):):):):):):) (Supreme Scream next Friday....lol)
