How old do you need to be to work at Six Flags Ohio?

I imagine 18, but I could be wrong. I think at Kings Island, Cedar Point, and other such parks it is 18. Most likely, Six Flags follows these same measures.

They have had a fairly huge staff of minors for the last few years. It appears to be the Premier way.

I can already tell you from my personal experience that SFO is hiring 16 year olds. They most likely are still hiring the 14 and 15's due to the huge number of applicants in that age group. These are the people that will probably tend to park trash, so a word to the wise: Don't litter, it may not be picked up anytime soon.
Do most parks really hire 14-year olds? I imagine that they might have to now with all the low unemployment, but that's still really young!

In states where it's permitted 14 and 15 year olds can work in retail or food service. Most insurance underwriters demand that ride operators be at least 18,however.
If memory serves me right wasn't the ride-op who was hurt on BKF 17?
I would think 16 is that age that you would be able to work and any park. You probably couldn't be a ride op though. But I may be mistaken.

TO WORK AT SFO, SINCE I AM A WORKER. YOU MUST be 14-15 years old to work in games, foods, and park services. for rides- u have to be 16
Would anyone know about PKI's age limit? I am 14 I was just wondering because I'm looking at a few jobs... and working at PKI would be a dream come true for me! But I do know that you have to be 16 to operate the rides because one of my sister's friends who used to work there told me that, and he worked at King Cobra. Any info. with this at all will be highly appreciated!

Ohio law requires that ride operators be at least 16. Some parks make it a policy that you have to be 18 or graduated from high school (perhaps Cedar Point is the only park with this policy).

At Dorney Park(CedarFair) you can work in
-games at 14
-foods "
-admissions "
-merchandise/lockers "
-park operations (litter, restrooms not rides)
-ride attendant/kiddie rides at 16
-waitor/waitress "
-costumer at 18
-performer "
-ride operator " that's most of the seasonal jobs, ATR7288@aol.com

I can confirm the fact that CP uses that 18+ or graduated method because my sisters friend Paul worked as the the head of the Raptor crew in 97' I believe (may have been 98), right after he graduated high school. He went to stay with his aunt for the summer in Ohio before starting college the next fall, and I asked him a few questions about his experiences there when he got back. I enquired how old you had to be to be a ride-op there, and he said that they asked if he was older than 18 when he applied for the ride-op job, and when he said no (he graduated at 17, about 2 months before his 18th birthday), they asked if he had graduated high school yet. He explained that he was turning 18 soon, and he said that he had graduated high school, and he got the job.

Ride 'Till you drop
i dunno, but at martin's fantasy island, they'll hire you if you're 13 !! and let you operate rides at 14!!! (scandalous)
If that's true, Violena, that's scary.
SFGAm requires you to be 15 to work at the park. In order to work in the rides department you must be 16 years old.

Actually PKI hires minors at age 15 to work in merchandise only they have very strict rules for minor minors as they're called. I am not sure about food but I htink it's 15 and rides is 16
well, i am a strong believer that ride ops should be 18.
