The London Times reports that an 11-year old boy died Friday after falling out of his car on the Space Invader roller coaster. Enthusiasts who have been on the ride describe the cars as similar to a log flume, with individual seat belts for the riders. The Times reports that an inside source from Blackpool stated that the child's seatbelt was buckled when the ride returned.
Sad story. My heart goes out to the boys family.
Yes, you hate to hear something like that, especially to such a young kid. My condolences to the family.
