Element Downloads?

There's a bunch of sites out there where users can download tracks, but are there any places where people can post/download just elements?
An element exchange is in the works on the CoasterSims.com site. We are just finalizing the details.

I'd like to know if anybody has a really good "pretzal" loop, or whatever you want to call it where it's a half corkscrew, 2 half-loops, and another half-corkscrew where it comes back in the opposite direction... It's the direct opposide of a "boomerang" element.

Does anyone also have a decent Zero-G element? The pre-fab included really doesn't do justice. I tried creating my own, but it's not quite as successful.

Not trying to spam man :) Just answering his question.

I think everyone wants a good zero G roll.  I've come kinda close, but I'm still working on it.  I think you're reffering to a Bowtie with that inversion.  It's basically a slightly changed boomerang, and shouldn't be too hard to make.

Yeah, "bowtie" I guess you could call it. Each company has their own name for it. Whenver I create my own by using a variation of the corkscrew, putting my own parts of the loop, and then mirroring the pre-fab corkscrew... it comes out too large.

I compare pictures of the "bowtie" element such as the one at the Viper located at Six Flags Darien Lake, and it comes out much taller than it should be. If shrunken, the train seems to squeeze too much!!  Some elements are crutial for the perfect twisting coaster...

Actually, the maneuver you are looking for is a Batwing.  The bowtie is the same as a Batwing, but leaves the same direction it entered...so it doesn't make a turnaround.  A bowtie is like that on Dragon Mountain at Marine Land in Canada.  Just for your info.

From the top, a good zero-G roll has three points with the center point having a 180-degree roll, the other two having about 30 and -30. From the side, the center point is slightly higher, and and additional points to the sides are the bottoms of the other drops. It should form a nice arc, with some degree of flatness in the actual inversion. This means the control handles on the two outside points are long toward the outside and shorter on the inside.

This has reliable worked for me, but keep in mind this is more of an inverted roll. Making one more like and Intamin roll where the center line is just above your head I'm not even ready to try!

Ole made a nice looking bowtie/batwing on Montu. If you want a good prefab batwing, you could just save that.
I just checked the sawblade5inlinetwist file off of one of the previously mentioned download sites, and found it to be an excellent element.  The size % seems to control the speed of rotation- the higher the % the slower the roll.  I don't know if the element is "accurate" to real world standards, but I liked it.
