Ejector air vs. floater air

Well which do you like better?
I like to be ejected then float a little. Wooden style, it's usually a bigger suprise.
Ok, Someone look at my track record, and tell me what has ejector, or floater air. Air is just air to me..

Floater air. I love the sinking feeling in youre stomach. Ejecter air is also always welcome on a coaster:)

Superman at SFNE has the best ejector airtime out there but nitro has the best flaoting of any coaster. i perfer superman over nitro so i have to go with ejector. I dig the intensity of ejector airtime.

I will take any air on a coaster. Ejector or Floater doesn't matter. Depending on the ride, and time of day, you can get both from one ride.
One person might feel nothing sitting right next to me, so the definition of air and what type you get is purely subjective! Bring it all on...:)

Umm...Yes. All air is good air.

Floster Air/Ejector Air. Whats the differance?
I think I enjoy floater air a little more because it feels like I'm flying!
Ejector Air: Magnum Xl-200..the forceful lifting on the rabbit hops
Floater air: Millennium Force..a subtle air

From my understanding, it's not the ride, but rather where you sit. If you are in the back of the train, and you get pulled over a huge drop and you fly out of the seat, that's ejector air. If you are more towards the front of the train, and when you get to the TOP of a hill and you sort of float out of your seat for the rest of the hill, that's floater air. Correct me if I'm wrong. I love both kinds, but I think ejector is better. *** This post was edited by saviourmachine on 8/11/2001. ***
Ejector air all the way...although both types are great.

Bruce:
5th hill on Raven = ejector
"Out" portion of Rebel Yell = floater (unless in seat 1.3, then ejector :))
jeremy

BTW: put me down for ejector...

Double Shot at Indiana Beach while not being a coaster does give you the sensation of both Ejector air and floater air.

Welcome to Deja Vu...home of the world wide wait.
Thanks Jeremy! Ejector Air it is!

IB's double shot is really awesome! And yes, it has both types of air, on the second shot down, you are still floating up until you hit the restraints and you are already back down! It's wild...

Thank you for not feeding the trolls and enjoy the rest of your day, here at CoasterBuzz.com. CLEAR!
I personally prefer floating air...I find that floating air tends to last a little longer than ejector air, even if the ejector air is more forceful. I gotta go with time over distance, so I gotta go with floater air.

I love ejector air!!

floater..you get more of a weightless feeling during floater air than ejector air.
I'm not sure I would call Raven's 5th hill ejector. Not during a typical run, anyway. It's strong floater, but not quite 'launch you into the bar ejection' that you get on some.

Ejector, basically, is when you ride the bar down the hill, and are pressed against it.

Floater is where you are basically weightless.
