EGF Colors of Track

I was just wondering why EGF has those sections of gray track throughout the ride?

Corey

Isn't there only one section?

Maybe it is one, but what's the purpose of it?

Nobody really knows...

A picture?! http://www.coastersandmore.de/Rides/geforce/egf16.780x585.jpg

EGF will be repainted for the next season.

The grey section is gone now! The ride was painted while the coaster was in operation! I´ve got the suspicion that the orange paint was just the rust-coating.

In operation?! Wow, that must've been challenging with trains speeding by every couple minutes...

Yes, it was weird to fly past workers dangling in their crane baskets.

But actually, I thought this was very unresponsible by the park. A few weeks ago, a huge crane fell over on Silver Star while decorating the ride for Halloween. This happened after park closing and the ride had to be inspected by TÜV and some scratches on the tracks had to be smoothened. ( I don´t know if this incident was reported here)

Would someone please tell me what the hell EGF stands for? Let's try to actually spell something out in the first post, and then use the acronym later.

Sure, coasters have good negative Gs, but telekinetics do it better.
