The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, an attraction that opened Friday in the Universal Studios Orlando theme park, delivers thrilling rides and authentic comestibles based on Rowling’s incredibly popular books. But as you’re sipping a butterbeer waiting to take a spin on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, take a close look around you. The castle corridors of Hogwarts and the shop windows of Hogsmeade aren’t just filled with magical-looking junk from a Universal prop house. Crafty designers have scattered Harry Potter Easter eggs all about, filling the park with little details designed to reward observant fans.
