East Coaster Trip

Our family is continuing their classic tradition of driving down the west coast with their first east coast trip. I need help though. Besides Hershey Park, what other park should be our stop between Boston and Washington D.C. ? I can only add one other park, and I have know idea which one.

Six Flags Great Adventure is out the question since my sister went there without me last year.

Well for nostalgic thrills visit either Lake Compounce or Knoebel's, or for modern thrills visit SFNE or Dorney. By the way, I wouldn't rule out SFGadv for any reason, especially with the new B&M flyer. Why would you pass up a park with 4 Beemers, great flats, great water rides, and IMO great themeing.
SFA all the way!

Outside of New England please, SFNE, Compounce, Quassy, and Fun Fair have already been visited.

Six Flags Great Adventure is being passed up, one because two of my family members wnet last year. Also, my family is tired of the usual Six Flags parks after SFNE, SFMW, SFNE, and SFDL.

Weird, the way you used to talk Vertigo, I thought you had been to every park in the country. That's not the case?

Agreed Joe. I was just thinking about that.

How about the Land of Make Believe?

Reminds me of the Mr. Rogers ride at Idlewild! :) Pretty sweet ride for the kids...

Any other responses?

I used to live on the westcoast, and I've been to every park in New Enlgand(aren't that many). I'm talkign about mainly where to go in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and New York, in terms of amusement parks.

Honestly, I'd probably recommend SFA over Dorney, or better yet you could try Knoebels...since you're already meandering around Eastern PA...Dutch Wonderland was nice too, but didn't really feature much in the way of coasters. Williams' Grove is also in that area...but I haven't been there. There's always Coney and Rye and Adventureland...
