Easedropping Fun

LMAO!!!

Ah, when I worked at SFKK on Roadrunner, guests would ask on ocassion (once in the vehicle looking at the orange/yellow track) "Does this go upside down, because I saw a loop and I don't want to go through it." I'm assuming the loop was that of Greezed Lightnin' since it's right beside RRx, but come on! Yellow/orange track with individual cars vs. green track with a 7-car train?

I did accidently Eavesdrop while in line for Chang. A couple of guys who seemed knowlegeable about the coaster world made a statement somewhere along the lines of "Mantis at Cedar Point is taller and it has an extra dive loop, Chang has a trim brake on it's first drop". I was baffled because right before that statement they were talking about how stupid Iron Dragon looked with the same basic color scheme as TTD, as they were at Cedar Point the day before! In a fit of uncontrollable word vomit, I corrected their statement and then had to deal with the "you were listening to our conversation? That's creepy" stare.

Ride count on the Voyage: 40 Most consecutive rides on the Voyage: 36 Day after thigh bruises from airtime: Priceless
In line for the Beast at Kings Island: "I heard that if they put the wood from the Beast in a line, it would go all the way around the world."
On the lift hill of magnum during a breakdown...
"is that the atlantic or the pacific ocean?"

Yeah!!! Rollercoasters!!!! (my 2 year old as we see the first sights of the point on the causeway)
My favorite, standing in line for the elevator at the Stratosphere Tower in Vegas (strangely):

WOMAN (to other woman): I remember a long time ago, one of my co-workers rode the Beast at Kings Island, and he fell out of the train and died, and they never found his body.

ME: I'm sorry, I have to interrupt. That is not true. No one has ever died on the Beast. I've lived near Kings Island all my life and know its history very well, and no one's ever been thrown out of a train on the Beast.

WOMAN: No, you're wrong. I know it's true because this guy never came back to work.

ME: *slaps forehead*

My blog You said, "I'm gonna run you down." I heard, "I'm an orangutan."
Not sure if this fits the thread, but I leave it up to getting flamed.

My first trip to CP in 2003, TTD not operating that day :(. Rumors were going around as to why TTD was not open from rollbacks to the "someone died" on it extent. Never found out why, but I did see through the course of the day some welding being done to the track near the lauch area.

That same day, in retrospect, it seemed like there were kids just barely making the height requirement to go on MF and very excited about it. Two days later I was at the gates of MiA waiting for the park to open. For those that have yet to go there, Corkscrew is visible to the gate. I hear from in front of me "I'm not going on that, it goes upsidedown". It was said by this burley farmer guy who one would think has no fear of anything.

It was a strange to witness the contrast from two days prior.

I guess you had to be there.

Thanks for another great season, VF!

Not a dumb line, but a damn funny one.

Two 30- or 40-ish couples boarding the trains on Twister. As the train dispatches, husky guy in front turns around and says to his friends behind him "they're going to have to use butter and a crowbar to pry my ass out of this seat."

I'll never forget the guy that jumped off T2 and yelled (and mind you what state T2 is in), "THAT THERE WAS A HUMDINGER!!!!!" *** Edited 6/2/2007 3:24:49 PM UTC by cdrpointcrazy44***

Just saw this, go down to Videoman223's comment about how they are talking about building a Six Flags in Utah. *** Edited 6/8/2007 4:29:08 AM UTC by Audioslaved***
