Early Looping Coasters Info?

In my honors english and history classes we are currently working on research papers on a controversial issue. The issue needs to be between 1800-1913 though, and I was considering researching the early looping coasters, like the Flip-Flap and Loop-the-Loop. I need to find 4 primary sources, or documents from that time period, however. So, if anyone has or knows of newspaper articles and such about these rides that are from that time, please let me know! Thanks!
It is going to be tough to find reference material for that. Why not consider the topic of coasters becoming too tall, fast, dangerous? There has been a lot of press about that in the last year or so.
1800-1913 wahoo ... somehow I don't think 2002 qualifies ;) But dude, pick something a little easier to find info on. Coasters aren't exactly controversial, there are a lot better topics in that time period you could pick.

Just don't be stupid. It's really not that hard.
