Earings on TTD?

I learned years ago to leave the earrings at home, but only for the OTSR's. I had a bad experience on GASM at SF Great Adv a few years ago. Nowadays I just don't wear them to parks period! I am not sure if they will let you wear them on TTD or not.

Although it probably wouldn't be a good idea to wear earrings on TTD, you'd probably have a worse time on Mantis. That ride will tear your ears apart. I sure was glad that I didn't have mine in when I went on Mantis. The wind factor alone on TTD may be the problem..

I've got 3 in each ear and do just fine riding TTD with them. You should be fine wearing them.

As Tina said, for OTSR's it might be a different story. I usually don't have problems with mine, just a little pain with my (not completley healed) cartilage piercings...

I saw a person in line for TTD who had a claw shaped earring that was really big. It was weird but I think he went on it without any problems.

If Jim Raimar can ride, anyone can.

That's the understatement of the century. I never knew the human earlobe could be stretched so much until I met Jim.

I never had a problem with any of my piercings on rides.

Only getting them out when they enforced it. 6 in one ear 5 in the other can be a pain when you have hoops that require pliers to take them out! Luclily I switched to hinged hoops now. Much easier to take out now. An empty film container works well to hold them in too. :)

He's relatively well-known in the enthusiast circles...here's a picture of him from his band's website... http://www.concentric.net/~1stdrop/Absence_01.jpg
