Ear

When you crash a coaster is that ear in the upper left hand coner on the vid screen supposed to mean any thing special other then to tell you that the train has crashed?  It seems pointless...

The ear is X'D out when the game is on mute. It tells you weather there is sound or not.

Well, it's muted except for that particular ride that has crashed... beats me why it does that... maybe so you can hear the screams of horror after it crashed?

It switches the audio automatically to the ride that has crashed.I kind of don't like it because it startles the mess out of me sometimes.
I was on real late one night, very quiet park (only one coaster) and the whole house is dead quiet. I'm sitting in the dark, building a path or something, kind of falling asleep in my chair and BOOM! My coaster crashed and that noise made me jump out of my chair...

the ear in the top of the ride's window is an indicator to tell you that the sound that is coming from your speakers are from the area that the crash happened.  if you click that area any other time it will do the same thing.  instead of hearing the sounds that come from the main area the sounds are coming from the area inside that small window.
