Eagle at SFGAm

Anyone heard anything about the American Eagle at SF great america? There was originally a rumor flying around that they were turning a train backwards for the anniversary, and I just wondered if that was true or not since I'm going there the 16th.
Although they did this 10 years ago... knowing Six Flags it's a "hassle" they won't bother with.

Doesnt look like they are going to do it. I was kind of hoping they would because backwards on the Eagle is pretty wild. Oh well. The Red side forwards is good enough for me.

It isn't that hard to turn a train around i don't think. They do that at Fright Fest though.

I was told by a ride op there, that it would never again be run backwards. He said it put too much strain on the cars.

I say they should get new cars that are designed t orun either way, and leave one going backwards all the time.

Even better, they should redesign the whole ride and have one track ride in the opposite direction, so they are racing towards each other.
