Dutch Wonderland latest park to designate smoking areas

When Dutch Wonderland opens its doors April 30, smokers visiting the park won't be able to light up just anywhere. Amusement park officials announced a "Clean-Air Proclamation" Wednesday that will limit where visitors can smoke cigarettes.

I was surprised last year when we visited Dutch Wonderland (first visit) and they allowed smoking pretty much everywhere. For a park that is pretty much a large kiddieland, it was weird. Plus it added another thing to watch out for when walking with the little ones.

as if there is a ton of room for them to place areas specifically for smokers. Wonderful! More fun for the rides people.
