Two New York City men were arrested this weekend after they allegedly sold counterfeit re-entry stamps in the parking lot of Great Adventure. Both are charged with forgery and theft by deception and are being held in Ocean County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Didn't we have the same story at the same park last year? Criminals are stupid.

Its interesting that someone trying to scam the park gets scammed in the process and calls the cops.
She really thought they were park employees selling re-entry handstamps in the parking lot with no park insignia? More like she got busted trying to rip off the park after the she realized she was the one who got ripped off.

Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Isn't that what most businesses do? Put employees outside selling merchandise lower than the in-store price.
"Poor me, I got ripped for $200, so me and my nine friends wouldn't have to pay the park to get in. I'm a victim, I tell ya, a victim!"
So how much is admission to GAdv these days? Any Wendy's coupons, Coke can offers?

So she could have gotten in for $15/person with legit tickets but instead paid $20/person for bogus hand stamps? Gotta love that.

Ha! I responded to your post in the General forum. I hope the park takes action against her. You can't allow her to plead ignorance on this one.
About 6 years ago, when they still had the season pass entrance (by GASM) open, my friend and I were re-entering after having been stamped at the main entrance. They denied us entry and took us into a trailer until security arrived. They said the stamp wasn't the correct stamp for that day, and we tried to explain to them that we had gotten stamped at the main entrance. They were apparently looking for 2 people who had forged stamps, and thought we matched the description. Ten minutes later, they let us leave and gave us a pair of exit passes for our trouble.
