Dumb Question

Forgive me for a stupid question; I'm still a new buzzer. What the heck are these "flume rides" I keep seeing mentioned?? Can any of the rides at SFMM (The only park I've been to) be considered a flume ride?

Sorry for wasting valuable forum space for such a dumb question.

You mean log flumes? They are water rides where you sit in a little log. There is usually one big drop at the end. I'm not sure if SFMM has one.

Oakie Dokie; SFMM does have one: Log Jammer. Two if Jet Stream counts. Why the heck do they call it a "Flume"? Anywho, thanks for the info.

Flume 2. An open artificial channel or chute carrying a stream of water as for conveying logs.

Thats from The American Heritage Dictionary.
