Dueling Dragons - dragon-shaped lake rumor?

Does anyone have a picture of the dragon-shaped lake on Dueling Dragons? Or is it just a rumour.

A couple folks responded to my TR where I said Dueling Dragons was underthemed compared to Montu at BGT, and they listed the dragon-shaped lake as one of the things I missed.

I just checked the satelite image on maps.google.com, and I can't see it. Truth or hoax? Enlighten me.

The lake was drained when I was there, dont know if it was in the shape of a dragon or not.

I am pretty sure there is/was a dragon shaped lake there. But I don't have any proof. At least right now. :)

Thats open to interpretation I suppose.

But to say that Dueling Dragons is underthemed makes me wonder if you telepathically went from the parking lot to your seat. Montu is good too, but you can't deny Deueling Dragons its respect for its themeing.

Yea, the entire queue alone is themed.

From the Lift Hill I remember thinking the lake looks like something. I swear, because I remember discussing this on here before and wanting to look for myself, but yeah the whole ride is themed perfectly. The castles like 8 miles long lol. When there is no line it takes 10 minutes to get through anyway.

Anyone care to pop that overhead shot into photoshop and 'show' me the dragon.

I'm not seeing it.

Neither am I.

I rode this 2 weeks ago a few times and looked like hell to see a dragon shape in the lake to no avail. For arguments sake, IF there is a dragon design in the lake, it certainly adds nothing to theming. What good is a theme you can't see?

P.S. The station has enough theming for the whole ride in my book...

I had always thought this was true, but those pics show wrong. That lake looks nothing like a dragon.

(Sat here for ten minutes trying to think of something the lake looked like, to no avail).

What's that next to the park, that oval-shaped..."track"...is it a auto race track? Or is it horse or greyhound racing? I'm very interested to know....

There's a high school next door to IOA (part of the reason for the wall next to DD)...I suspect it's for track and field.

I supposed that lake looks like a special kind of dragon. Of course I'm talking about Trogdor the Burninator! There's a head, a big beefy arm coming out of his neck there, some tiny feet, and his tail. It's like the spitting image. :)

I don't see a dragon but I sure do see some nice landscaping. It's nice o see a park "go for it" and not just throw one up in the parking lot
