Drunken Coasters

Has anyone ever been drunk on a coaster? I know that it would be extremely expensive with prices fer beer at parks and the like but wouldn't it stange?
!!! Man we will do anything to get a better ride on a coaster won't we!!:)

It is also dangerous since drunks may not hold a proper body position. For example leaning limply forward over a lap bar can result in injuries. Most parks screen out drunks to keep them off rides.
I havent done it though but i would have to say that would be one hell of a ride.

Heh, gotta try it sometime.
You'd have to be REALLY staggering drunk for most ride ops to prevent you from riding.

I was pretty toasted at the Six Flags Over Georgia IAAPA party and had a blast on Georgia Cyclone and Great American Scream Machine. They were even serving mint julips to us.
I've been drunk at Jazzland a few times. I don't really like being drunk on a coaster. It makes the ride alot less intense.
There are alternatives to drink which can REALLY enhance coaster riding, oh steer clear of Haunted Houses though!!!!

I've never been drunk on a ride, but I have been pretty buzzed. It's not really a good feeling. For me it amplifies the motion, and I don't mean in a good way.

I like to tie one on from time to time at Red Garter, but it's time to take in shows and walk around until the buzz wears off.

heh... I went to SFGAm the day after my prom and my friend's prom. I didn't see any drunks, but I guarantee they were there and made a mess.

I'm sure the heavy G's of Schwarzkopfs or Giovanolas don't fare too well with the alcohol.

For me it depends on the ride, freefalls are the best, coasters, depending on inversions. Just steer well clear of the spin'n'spews!!
It kinda makes the ride dull for me personally... I've had a couple of drinks and then got on a coaster. Doesn't do anything for me. However, I've found that space shots and turbo drops are kinda fun after a drink or two.

Just remember as with anything, especially in a theme park... moderation. Don't drink too much.

I wouldn't know personally since I'm only 15, but on Saturday I was at PKI when I realize that the guy in front of me in line for the Vortex was straight up wasted. He couldn't walk straight and was screaming at his friend. When I rode by myself, he decided to sit with me. He seemed to enjoy the ride though.
I've seen some carzy drunk guy in line for Millenium Force. He was standing on top of the rails and saying: "I'm not going home drunk!" Luckily the cops got him before he went on the ride. He would have thrown up all over the place. It was really funny though. I wish I had a video camera then.

Just remember that girl that fell out of Flight Commander at PKI was drunk. If she had not been she probably would have been able to hold on to the ride, and would not have fallen out.

The same applies for coasters. While they are designed to keep you in, a completely limp body with no resistance could still slide out.
