Drop Rides

The Sky Jump at the Stratosphere is pretty good, too. I did it in the middle of the day, I suspect it's even cooler at night.

I rode Scream several times and it got boring very quickly. Despite the fact I'm afraid of heights, this type of ride does not scare me, space shot nor turbo drop. The greatest drop tower I've been on was Dr. Doom's Freefall at IOA because you get blasted out of a building. It was so cool to be inside a building and a second later you're 100' above IOA. Nothing else for me compares, not Scream, or Power Tower, or anything.

Dr doom, to me, was the worst. Not powerful at all. Very meh.

I have very few drop rides under my belt (demon drop, power tower, drop zone KI, Tower of Terror and Dr. Doom) but overall I prefer true free fall, so drop zone is at the top of my list. I do agree with bjames though that Dr. Doom was cool being launched out of a building. And I enjoyed Tower of Terror, but I don't feel it's right to compare the 3 as they all do different things

I'm surprised Lex Luthor has gotten much love. Outside of the view, I found it considerably average. Yes, its really tall, and I noticed that the ride up was longer than any other tower, but I wasn't nearly as intimidated as I thought I would be. I think the green towers on Power Tower give me more anticipation.

No. The green towers at CP are lame. I'll take a Drop Tower at KI any day. I do however like the launch up towers at CP.
