Drive from PKI to SFKK to HW

A friend and I are tossing around the idea of taking a Saturday this fall and making a road trip out to Holiday World. From Ohio Wesleyan University, the drive to Kings Island was just under 2 hours. For those who have made the drive before, about how far is it from PKI to HW? We aren't going to PKI but are using it as a point of reference for estimating our driving time.

Also, since it looks like we have to drive through Louisville, we are debating to maybe hit SFKK on the way there and get some more use out of our SF passes. That won't cause a substantial detour, right?

I guess what I'm asking for help with is:

1. how long of a drive from PKI to SFKK
and then
2. how long of a drive from SFKK to HW.

I did the same trip in May (Columbus to HW, then SFKK). It is 1:25 from Columbus to PKI, then about 2:30 from PKI to SFKK, and about 1.75 from SFKK to HW.

I made a similar trip earlier this year as well – those times are fairly accurate (maybe a little long depending on how fast you drive…) Going to SFKK will be about a 20 minute detour. It’s worth stopping, especially since you have SF season passes (and parking is only $3). KK has some great rides (Thunder Run, Chang) – just don’t expect to be wowed by super efficient operations and quick ride ops…

You can easily do SFKK and HW in one day (spend the better part of the day at HW). And remember that when you go from KK to HW you get an extra hour from the time zone change.

How fast do you drive, Jacob? It takes like 15 minutes to get from SFKK to the right interstate, and another 10 minutes from the interstate to HW. And at least an hour inbetween. But with the time change, it's really much shorter!
