Dreamworld to get Nick Central

Dreamworld in Australia, is currently well underway with the construction of a new Nickelodeon themed childrens area, going by the unique name Nick Central.

They're well underway with the construction of Runaway Reptar Roller Coaster, a Vekoma Inverted Rollerskater, identical to those seen at Paramount Nick Centrals. Most of the rides and attractions are new, but they're retheming the Carosel to generic Nickeldeon stuff, and the Bumper Bowl to Rocket Power, as well as some other smaller rides.

For those that know Dreamworld, this is going at the old Kennyland area, with Reptar currently half built over by the tunnel on Tower of Terror. Look for it, as always, December 26 this year.

Two new coasters in two years - keeps getting better and better at Dreamworld (even if one is only a kiddies coaster)!

Wow! I think that a Dreamworld needs an Intamin Giga coaster! Or a B&M Inverter! I wish! Its good to see Dreamworld already moving on fom 'Cylone' that hit!

The coaster is identical in stats (and nearly identical in name) to the Reptar coasters at Paramount parks. Around 15m tall (50ft). It actually has track that is slightly darker than the Paramount ones, being orange rather than yellow.
