Dreamworld Ride Video's

Just to let you all know that if you head to my site at www.ozattractions.com.au there are two new video from the park.  One is an on-board, off ride video of the Thunderbolt and the other is an off ride video of the Wipeout.  Have a look and lets us know what you think.  Sorry about the transfer speed but we are working on it.

Great site, I didn't even know it existed!

I am going to try and get some pics from on top of th egiant drop next time I'm there.

I was watching the wipeout vid, WTF?? I've been on that ride like 20+ times and its never sprayed (didn't even know it could)

how did you get them to do that?

It got a new paint job along with the fountains you mentioned. FYI most Huss Top Spins, even the portable ones come with the fountains.

I've d/led the vids. They're excellent! Shaun did a great job. My only minor complaint was too many close-ups of Wipeout. That was a big risk to take the camera on TB, it almost fell apart from the vibrations. :) Can't wait for the Cyclone vid.

Is it just me or is Wipeout not aging well? It gets rougher ever time I ride it. Years ago it was smooth, now I get all banged up.

Both d/led within 9 mins which is what I usually get for overseas - USA.  I've 512K Bigpond cable modem, average d/l 30Kbs. Yeah, if you had a full connection to the 'net, it would be much faster. Sites in Aussie are much faster than o/s, I once d/led something at 300kps here!

Yeah i saw the new paint job when i was there on christmas eve, but the fountain wasn't running.

I was getting 80k/s off that site (optus cable).

I don't think wipeout is getting rougher, I've always ended up falling between the harness and the seat, but its all good.

Whoa! Wipeout looks crazy! At first I thought it was a regular Top Spin, then the arms starting turning in opposite directions and I seriously thought the ride was falling apart at first.

Who manufactures that thing? I'd love to take a spin on it, but I'm stuck in the states.

If you like those video's then stand by as there is one coming of the Gaint Drop and the Tower of Terror in the same video.  Cyclone video is off ride at this time and we are waiting for permission to take the video onto the ride.  Hope to do it on Oz day long weekend. There will also be video from Leathal Weapon and the Road Runner coaster soon or we hope.  Still talking the park into letting us do it.  All the more call for it helps so let them know.  Wonderland video coming soon also.  Enjoy.

Screamer, it's a Vekoma Waikiki Super Flip. They also have a Waikiki Flip, just about the same as a Top Spin.

Wayne, how do you get them to let you take a video on the ride? (same with cameras too).

I'm gonna get my season pass soon, I plan to go alot once school starts again and the crowds die down. (I'm at uni part time, well maybe, dunno if I'm even gonna go back to uni yet).

Did you guys see Giant Drop stalling on the news?

with a lot of smooth talk and the right approach to the park.  I told them about the web site and they jumped at the chance.  Lot of work went into the video before we even got onto the ride!
