The Intamin reverse freefall coaster will run backwards when relaunched after a four week closure. It will also launch from total darkness.

I rode the ride, and the initial acceleration from a stand still didn't have enough force to pin me back. In fact, I was leaned forward and turned to the side talking to my friend when the ride 'launched' (as I wasn't expecting it to launch at that moment) and I specifically remember saying to dannerman (Tim) "Wait, that was the launch?"

If it were so forceful from a standstill, I would have been 'thrown back' into the seat. I was not.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I wouldn't be surprised to see OTSR added to these rides.

Oh God, now you went and did it. ;)

LOL. I wouldn't be shocked to see it either. But you have Mummy down the road that, to me, felt like a far more forceful launch backwards without OTSRs, and it was rather comfy.

Yeah, but the lap bar on Mummy comes way up into your chest. The S:TE ones are pretty low profile.

Well yeah, but like I said, Supes just doesn't have that powerful of a launch. I've backed out of my driveway with more force.

Now, if they want to run it full power, then it may be different, but I still don't see them absolutely having to add OTSRs for a backwards ride.

What we need is a gay Muslim to ride it backwards with OTSR's using virtual queue having paid $82 to get in, and calling it "not a roller coaster."

S:TE isn't made of fiberglass, but it does spend some time perched high above the tree tops.

Why are you asking us to remain away from the doors?

The way that those coasters roll into their launch, I don't see why it would be uncomfortable.

I thought the issue would be when you're coming back down the tower into the 'brake' at that speed face first?

Nothing to see here. Move along.
