The Dreamland Trust has raised £10m from the government's SeaChange fund, the National Lottery and others to transform Dreamland into a heritage-themed amusement park. It plans to refurbish the site's original Grade II-listed Scenic Railway rollercoaster, which stands neglected and partially dismantled in the ruins of the old park, and revive a number of other old rides that once thrilled holidaymakers.
