Drawing rollercoasters

Does anybody know a site that teaches you how to draw rollercoasters or has drawings or rollercoasters?
Nope, I do it all the time in Study Hall though, lol.

Teaches? I used to draw them in 3rd grade, but that was just track layout. I don't know how detailed you want to get, as I assume it would be rather tedious...

All i used to do is draw a box for the station, then the track was just a pencil line. As i got older i would add moer detail into the drawings like the chain, railing on the lift and brake runs, and detailed supports and trains. But now when i want to design coasters i use Auto C.A.D. 2002.

Drawing 101:
Get a pencil and a pad of paper.
Ready? DRAW!

WARNING: May be habit forming

I can do the basic stuff, like draw wooden and steel coasters. i am talking about drawing like inverted rollercoasters, corkscrews and cobra rolls from all angles, and getting the wooden support structures to look like a realy coaster.
If you want to see my latest coaster, IM me at SmurfSlayer6388.

Haha no, I'm poor.

I guess I'm really good at it - without my Dad's permission about 8 months ago I took the liberty of painting all kinds of coasters and stuff (actual ones w/ their logos) on my walls of my room. So far, I have Xcelerator, Wicked Twister(the best), Millennium Force, Raging Bull, The Villain, Vertigo (memorial), Whizzer(was supposed to be a memorial), Shockwave(memorial?), Wild Thing, and the Six Flags logo.

I'm soon going to be working on either Raptor, or I could just wait until Cedar Point announces their new ride, and use that logo... I need more walls! I'm running out of room already on them! Any suggestions on what I should do next?

Gravity knows no force, like Millennium Force. breathe. You have just broken ten world records.
Beyond coaster....Giga Coaster.

***MILLENNIUM FORCE***

What about the ceiling? You could paint it as if you were looking up as an Inverted passes overhead. :)

Pics of your walls would be great.

I spent my entire childhood drawing coasters. I didn't stop until I was about 20.

Xflighter, How do you paint them? Do you just draw with pencil free hand and then fill in?

i draw layouts in school too, lol. i draw them, and label where element/brake runs will be. then when i get home i make it in nolimits.

speaking of drawing coasters, my mom called a muralist to see if he could paint coasters on the walls in my room. i guess he got the impression i want coasters all over, and he told my mom it would be between 2,000-3,000$.

so now, i told my mom to just get part of the room, or simply a large painting and see how much that would cost...because i cant find posters to save my life.

Yeah, my mom suggested getting coasters on my wall too. But we never got around to it.

You want to know what Millenium Force is on a scale from 1-10? Oh, that's easy. A bajillion out of ten.

I'm pretty bad when it comes to drawing coasters or anything else for that matter free hand.

I suggest using a program like piant on your windows programs/applications menu from your PC,I used it on my old PC and created a few good coaster renderings using the gridline system from the program.

While my "coaster art" isn't the best it's better than if I had tried doing it free hand using pencil & paper.

I draw B&M coasters, But I make my own designs. B&M should try and make one my designs;)

PKI Fanatic, yeah thats basically how I do it. With Letters I occasionaly use your standard ruler for help. Wicked Twister looks So awesome - I'll have to try and borrow a camera from some one in the next week or so and try to take pictures.

Here's one I drew of X-Flight about a month before the coaster was announced... turns out I was right in my predictions (for the most part) :
