dragster's line

does anyone have a picture of the line from sunday may 4th. I heard it was just truly amazing length. I would like to see just how far back it was.
this might tell ya something...http://www.topthrilldragster.com/public/inside_park/rides/thrill/ttd/photo/picture.cfm?id=213

By midday every maze was filled, but it stopped spilling out into the midway.

are there any pics from when the line was in the midway in the morning shortly after the park opened? When it was back to power tower
so how's wait times? i'm planning on going sometimes in the mid-summer, and i suspect the waits will be similar...
Nah. If they get even two more trains up, you can kiss another 2 hrs. off of the line. That would take my wait from six to four hours. Then, once they get six trains with all 5 cars, you can bet waits will be in the 2 hr. range, hopefully even shorter. It could be a good month before capacity is up to snuff, unfortunately. I heard by Memorial Day things should be running well.

On a related note, I was wondering if anybody else noticed how the train flew by the first kicker wheel on the track. I assume that when the fifth car is added the extra resistance will cause the train to stop earlier which will then actually make use of that kicker wheel. If not, then what the heck is that wheel doing all the way out there?

I play in a really awful garage band, but it's still fun.

I was there on Sunday, and thankfully we are members Joe Cool Club. We still waited 2 hours to ride. My dad (a non-coaster person) called me from the grandstands and said the line was at Power Tower and was 5 hours. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of it. The only thing I didn't like about the setup of the queues and such was the fact that I felt boxed in while standing in line - couldn't see much except the ride itself (which I'm not complaining about) or the brown walls that are on the launch side of the ride. Is anyone else "not happy" about the queue design?
that line is long! I never thought a coaster's line would ever be that long. I hope it is worth the wait.

The crazier the ride, the crazier the line I guess.

Anorexia is phat!

Corkscrew used to get 4 hour waits, with all three trains running (1,440 PPH).

So they are only running 4 cars per train until they can get the launch going properly. As long as they can get the line down to 2 hours buy june 27 it would be all good.

Ah man I waited 6 1/2 hours for Deja Vu. Silly me. But The longest line worth waiting in was 5 1/2 hours for millennium force in early may it's opening season.

I was at CP on Sunday and by mid-afternoon the line had reached epic proportions. At one point the wait was five hours. But if I had to advise someone traveling to Cedar Point... it's worth the wait.

Ouch! 6 1/2 hours for Deja Vu...I get mad if I have to wait more than 45 minutes...

The nice thing about TTD is that the lines should eventually go down...I don't think X's will ever drop. That poor ride is going to need some serious rethinking before they can get capacity up...

OK, I'm really going to date my self. I remember the line for the Blue Streak going out to the midway and down to the main gate during the UAW picnics.

I wonder if the lines are gonna be so long that it will be there all night into sunrise. Didn't MF have that happen a few times?

Be sure to download my latest NL Wooden Looping Coaster creation Dream Blast. Updated for NL 1.3!

That would be crazy, I can imagine the anouncement "Ladies and Gentlemen please be aware that in 15 min TTD will stop running because it must go through its morning check up, if you dont get on by that time, be aware the ride will go on a 3 hour downtime. Do not worry though, everyone will be able to ride, but after you will be escorted out of the park by a security guard since you dont have a ticket for today and the park will be open by then." :):):)

Summer 03-CP, HP, Canobie, SFNE, SFWOA, and SFGAm.

If the line gets so long, like 6 hours towards the end of the day will they close the line a few hours early? I know they have done this at PKI at some of their newer rides. The major one I can think of is FOF. If CP has a 6 hour line and still doesnt close it until the time the park closes that just gives one more reason they are such a great park.
