Dragster Open?

I live in California and my family and I are going to make the big trip to CP tomorrow and we will stay til Friday night. Does anyone have any insight on when Dragster is going to reopen? Living so far away, I probably won't get back there til at least next year, if that. I know CP has alot of awesome rides, but Dragster is the only one I care about. Please give me any information that you know. Thanks

Nobody really knows anything about when it will open or whats wrong with it as of now.

Call the park. We don't know and we can't predict the future. Frankly, if you're already going, what difference does it make at this point? You'll be there either way.

I'm not sure how much "difference" it will make, but he said---

I'm left to assume that IF Dragster is not running he is going to have a crappy time. Since that is the only coaster he cares about! However, IF Dragster is running he probably will be happy and have fun! Apparently he does not "care" too much about CP's other coasters at this time!

So therefore, the "difference" for J Shadster is the possiblity of having a crappy time versus the possibility of being happy and having fun! :-)

J Shadster----I sure hope it opens for your sake, since it is the only one you care about! However, it appears that your chances are not too good as it looks now! But as Jeff said, "we don't know and we can't predict the future."

Based upon the past performance and history of this ride! My opinion is that you would have a less than 20% chance of getting on this! Your chances are even less if you consider recent history/downtime!

Good luck! Have you considered canceling or postponing the trip? No sure if that is possible or not---but you may be setting yourself up for disappointment if your expectations are that TTD will run!

I was there saturday and it was open, I have a season pass and I'm there all the time. But it was open Saturday and I rode it. I hope it's open when u go.

It was open this past weekend, but now they put the closed message back up on the status report and there is nobody in line on the webcam.

Is it closed again because of the same valve problem?

Maybe some people dont think CP has all these other rides that "rock" like Jeff, or other people think who say don't worry about it, etc... IMO, Only rides worth going at at that park are Dragster, Raptor, MF, WT, Power Tower, WildCat, and any other flats or tame coasters you might like.. But dragster is the best they have, so Id want it to be open, esp. If i lived in Cali.

So I hope its open for you J shadster
