Recent photographs show just the remaining two trains, garage area, and loading area of Drachen Fire at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

Wow... it's like the ride was never there. Interesting that they've kept the station. I'm sure there will be plenty of speculation as to why.

Looks like it was more carefully taken apart, as opposed to Windjammer. Pretty eerie seeing it like that.
Hmm:

Temporarily Unavailable

The Tripod site you are trying to reach has been temporarily suspended due to excessive bandwidth consumption.

The site will be available again in approximately 2 hours!

Ya know, I don't mean to be a crap arse, but $5 on a good host is money well spent IMO.

Guess I'll be checking again in 2 hours

Wouldn't that make a nice station for a new woodie!
Interesting. I thought they said they won't use that land again. They sure spruced it up, though!

just got that message again! Geee 2 times in 4 hours to view a site....hmmm....might be a good idea to up the bandwidth.

-----------------

This seems stupid- but I really like that station. Hopefully some nice coaster goes there, and fast.

-----------------

Great just got it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope I finally get to see those pics!

Same here.

So...you can't handle a rollercoaster huh? Well...you ARE the Weakest Link! Goodbye!

wickedtwister....chill out. Some people just don't have the money to pay for a site, like myself. As you may think many teens do, but half of them are broke, like myself. If you want to see the pics that bad go to Busch Gardens and take a look for yourself, or otherwise you're just gonna have to suffer with a site that was worked on hard, but the owner just isn't rich and can't pay for hosting.

Rollercoasters are my life, I think about them more than I think about....wait, thats all I think about :)

Well Glenn, I am a teen also and I can understand that some people don't have the cash for a site. I am just pisses me off when i check every 2 hours and the same message comes up again.

-----------------

ok i need to come to the defense about the website:

First off I'm not 'some teen' that runs this because I'm bored or broke. I have bills too. I'm actually paying for extra bandwidth (4x more than i had earlier this year) and i also run an ad-free website. All this comes out of my pocket. I lose money on this site but do it because I enjoy sharing my photos and info with everyone. I sincerely apologize that you get the excessive bandwidth messages and can't view the site right then and there...but the website is a HUGE site. I'm working on ways to decrease the total size and yet have the newer photos that people want. Please bear with me on this. I'll also see that I'm more prepared to handle high volume traffic before any more future posts to coasterbuzz.com.

thanks!

Wow. I almost got a little misty looking at those pics. DF was one of my favorite coasters. I better make sure to put blinders on after coming out of the Festhaus for my noon BB. I'll probobly cry like a little girl.

Sniff, Sniff.

kinda wierd to see the land all clean, like nothing was even there at all. its just sad. Does anybody remember the awesome airtime on that hill after the drop? it was so great.... :(

ROCK! http://www.fuzerocks.com

Robbie B. I have enjoyed your site for the past couple of years. Thanks for the great job you do and for sharing with us your Drachen Fire pictures. I enjoy your site's newer additions of coaster and other information, but I have always appreciated the emphasis you place on BGW's shows and performers. I love coasters, but I'm glad someone else appreciates theme parks as a whole (especially shows) and not just the biggest and newest coasters.
me myself think that arrow even though not creating coasters have planned a new coaster design for them that has been dormant, i mean, why would they just leave the 2 trains on the transfer tracks.... or even in storage, they would have already taken them, i believe that arrow had more than one design planned in 1990 or 1991 for BGW, i think a new arrow designed coasters going in, i don't know who would fabricate and manufacture the track, oh yeah, maybe D. H. Morgan...... hmmmm......

Robbie, thanks for your hard work. It's not easy to maintain a site, trust me! That bandwidth thing must be going around....I'm having all kids of problems with mine, though I think it's just a gimmick to get more $$ from me.

As for the pics, I would love to see a woodie go in at BGW. It would round out an already decent steel assortment, and looks like that area gives them plenty to work with. Man, seems like yesterday when I climbed into that train......*sniff*......:(
