Drachen Fire being sold!!

Yesterday I e-mailed BGW asking them if they were getting any new coasters for 2002 and what is up with DF. Here is what they replied:

Thank you for your inquiry.  We have no plans to add any coasters or reopen
Drachen Fire for the for the 2002 season.  We have decided to sell the ride.
Once again, thank you for writing and we hope you will return in the future.

Rollercoasters are my life, I think about them more than I think about....wait, thats all I think about :)
OK, and where is proof of it being sold to "a place in San Antonio"?  Just another unsubstantiated rumor.

There is no coaster company is Texas. Glenn, you have been here for 16 days. Please get proof first. And check you story for common sense. After all, why would a coaster company buy an existing coaster?

Uh... let me think, it hasn't been open for how long now, why would they reopen it?

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

oh they'll sell it alright, a coaster like that four 4.5 mill?  lol, a park would be stupid not to buy it.  plus with all the improvements that can be done to it nowadays (lapbars for example), i doubt they will have trouble selling it.  also if the people are smart and look @ this site, they will see a lot of people want this ride re-opened (meaning more popularity for the ride).  it all makes sense...

Bid farewell to this thread...

Actually they'll see that 50 or so die hard lunatics want it re-opened.  I'd imagine they already have the data that suggests a million or so visitors to the park weren't interested in riding it much at all.
Don't you guys ever get tired of talking about this? ;)

This is no surprise. Wasn't it obvious that BGW would sell the ride?
