Drachen Fire ala B&M

Even though I'm not sure about the whole "Drachen Fire was to be originally be made by B&M" bit, I decided to see what kind of a difference it would make if Drachen Fire was made by B&M, in the RCT world of course :).

I found one recreation of Drachen Fire and tested it out. It only had an excitement rating of 6.10. I made my own yet only got it to 6.13! Needles to say, Drachen fire is downright boring in RCT world.

I moved on to the B&M Model. The Only Difference was instead of the camel back, I put in the rumored barrel roll, and made the cobra roll out of "large half loops." Still the excitement rating was only 6.83, but that's still better than what the Arrow one came through with.

Now RCT and the real world are far apart. Just food for thought.

that is neat i never though of the ride that way

FEAR THE FOUR
Drachen fire what will happen to it?
I don't know how they would do that, seeing as B&M and Arrow have much different track, and they are competitors.

What is life with out coasters, geniuses, and/or SFA
Well, Drachen Fire is a great coaster either way. I wish BGW will just reopen it. Anyway,I love B&M. I am one of those poeple who favor B&M coasters the most, but I still LOVE Arrow,Premier Rides,Intamin, etc... I have RT and I have a problem getting my excitment rating high without the intesity rating shooting up too. So, I built this park that I kept close after I made thousands of dollars and I invested the money in making real coasters in it, Kumba in Ultra Extreme. I could only imagine what Gwazi would be.
Genius... Here's an abbriviated version of the thing...

B&M was commissioned to design Drachen Fire, and did. However, they were also asked by BGTampa to design Kumba. After taking so much time on the Kumba project (it WAS their first sit-down) they scrapped the Drachen Fire plans. Determined to keep it alive, BGW gave the plans to Arrow. Arrow's track gauge does not allow for in-line twists, so they scrapped it, and added the bunny hop.

Of course, you'll realize the coaster is not a typical Arrow design, with the inversion/drop combo, the cobra roll, and the cutback.

It's coming...
Hey, you learn something new every day. Well, I always thought that Drachen Fire looked so different from everything else Arrow had been churning out, and I guess now I know why.

Hoping your day is "freckashea"
speaking of which... I have seen pictures, but what exactly is the lay-out? I know there is the corkscrew-drop, the cut back, a corkscrew, a batwing, and somewhere in there a bunny-hop, i don't konw the order or the layout or what else is in drachen fire.

Not to open this age old topic....

I d/l DF thru RCT Ogresnet. Nice little Arrow coaster, but I thought to myself, what if B&M designed it. I had designed a Dueling/racing TOGO that it 10 on intensity...I revamped it with a B&M and very rideable. Did the same with Drachen Fire and I was impressed.

This next question may not have been done yet, but has anyone been so bold as to create DF (Arrow or B&M) on No Limits?
