What happend to this cool ride. I had it on a video and did they do away with it or what?
Its still standing but not operating.
It was listed on a website that sold used rides, but it disappeared from there recently, which gave way for lots of new speculations.
The options are:
-It will be dismantled completely (could be)
-It will be partly rebuilt by Morgan (as on Steel Phantom - unlikely)
-It will be located to SfOG or SFAW (hmmmm)
-It will be located to europe and will be marketed as the latest in Rollercoaster design (Very likely ;))
- It will reopen (according to park: very unlikely)
Or it will get a makeover by Arrow.

i doubt that Arrow will refurbish the ride. It seems that they want to move on to bigger things.
They are busy building their Virginia Reel;)
i saw some peple climbing the lift one day when i went by so that might be a good news

Drachen fire What will happen to it?????????????
SF have bought the Dracher Fire to replace the Ninja in SFOG in 2002.
I never visited Busch Gardens Williamsburg...
Does ANYONE know where I can get see some photos of Drachen Fire, past or present?? BGW's site doesn't have it... and I don't know where else to look.

Six Flags has not bought Drachen Fire. BGW wants to see if they can change a few things and have consulted Arrow (dunno about Morgan). There's also an Eagle's nest on the thing so they can't mess with that.
I wouldn't be suprised if they try running this thing again in 2001.

Why was Drachen Fire closed in the first place? Just because it was a rough ride?
I heard that someone got a concussion on it, but I'm not sure about it.
I hope it re-opens somewhere, I'd like to ride it some day.

I just hope she runs again. I never met an Arrow I didn't like or B&M, Intamin, Morgan, etc, etc. :)

Josh I had that video too, I remember they had a section on it claiming it as one of the best coasters in the country, I also was puzzeled as to what happened to it
I wouldn't care if it was a rough ride or if I got a Concussion on it. It looked like an awesome ride. I never got to ride it, but I hope they reopen it somewhere and keep the same track layout.
