DP Woodie Work

Today while I was at Dorney for my rehire interview I saw a lot of work was going on in the park. BOTH Hercules and ThunderHawk were being worked on. At Hercules there where many workers spanning the entire first drop working on the track. On ThunderHawk they were workers on the brake run and working on the lift chain (I think) Also the Old Center Stage is gone and the Laser Light Show's steel frame is gone. I assume work is proceeding on Meteor.
For more info on what's going on at DP in 2002 just go to my site: www.alexsplace.com

We went around PPPP time, my first visit to Dorney...not my last.  ThunderHawk is fantastic, stand-up air near the front in several spots.  I remember seeing a plaque commemorating a guy (forget his name) in whose memory they pledged to maintain the ride...woodies are just like that, they have souls...nice to hear Herc's getting work, he needed it!

The thing about Hercules is that it's a rough ride that rips it's self up. In fact the amount of money that goes into that coaster is more than any other woodie in the CF chain. But the problem is the ride still has a good ridership. Hell during a busy weekend the que still fills up. I think we won't see it removed but a major reprofiling.
Hercules is a great ride but the bumpiness sorta makes up for it.  It's still a great ride, though.  Thunderhawk is also a classic.  I heard they were getting a woodie in one of the next few years but I forget which site I had heard it from.  I heard they were getting one near steel force.  What about the trains on DP's woodies?  They should run 2 on hercules I think.

Cedar Point to the top in 2k2!Top 5 - 1. Raptor 2. Steel Force 3. Talon 4. Lightning Racer 5. Mantis

They stopped running 2 trains on Hercules a few years ago when they bumped in the station no serious injuries.

Hello, My name is Dan and I'm a coasterholic.
"Coasterpunk" no they didn't....they stopped using three trains a few years ago though (they had an extra train in case of break downs, the train was then stripped for parts when the owner before CF brought them got cheap). You may have seem one of the cars for that train during holloweekends
to "Raptor39" no woodie is in the plans at least near future. Although B&Ms are
B&MS as in plural!! ohhh what kind and where???
don't know....but I do know that when they build talon they signed a 3 coaster deal (Talon being the first).

Personally I think they will get a flyer since they seem like most of them are on the smaller size.

do you know by any chance how many years they are planning in between each coaster?
nope
did they by any chance reveal to you what meteor is exactly since they havent given many details out about it?
Parks do not sign multiple coaster contracts... period.

Please run 2 trains on thunderhawk and hecules
Is meteor the same as SFNE's Time Warp

http://www.sixflags.com/parks/newengland/rides/time_warp.html

no....it's the same ride model as Kennywoods Aero 360
I personally do not think that it is a Zamperla Hawk. Because in the news article that was in the local paper a little while ago it said that the ride would be new to the entire nation and only one other park in Europe has the same ride. Besides, on that sketch or whatever you have on your site, where does it swing you down into a pit?

Another thing....where do you get all your information??
