DP 2002 rumor...

It's nothing much, but my friend who works at the Red Garter Saloon told me that they were putting a new stage up on the main midway between the Wild Mouse and Coasters Diner. She wasn't sure, but that's just what she heard.

I'm not a particular fan of shows, so the stage isn't very exciting news. Although I agree with you that Talon ROCKS! Best invert I've been on!

Since a new coaster is likely out of the question for 2002, this seems like a logical move for the park.  I can completely see this happening.

I don't know about you guys, but I enjoy the 50's themed resturaunts at the parks. Especially with old cars parked outside.

DP 2002 rumor? What park is DP? :) At any rate, there have been so many rumors, let's just wait until we get some sort of announcement -- it can't be far, there isn't all that much time left!

Well, based on the way Cedar Fair is run (return on investment), you can bet your bippy a new coaster is most likely out of the question for 02 at Dorney. The park most likely will get a new food joint as well as a pay per ride attraction to help boost capital.

I heard that the water park was going to be expanded next year, and what ever happened to the large open space next to Steel Force? I know it is going to be a parking lot but i was wondering if any black top was down yet or whether it is still just a grassy field.

Dude are you talking about Dorney or Cedar Point? I think I got thrown off there...

The one stage that the park has right now is crammed in between Dominator and some food place....you can't even notice it!  It is a logical move to put this new one up right where there is a lot of traffic.

And Medusafanatic...did you try riding Talon in the front or back right seats?!  MAN!  There are some serious G's on that thing!
