Dowloading RCT3 Scenerio's

I have a problem when i want to download a scenerio. I get it saved in my folder then when I go to open it I pick RCT3 and it looks like it starts to load then it comes up with a window that says it has had an error and asks me if I want to inform Microsoft about it and it won't let me download them onto the game.

I haven't tried just regualr coasters yet. I'm gonna have to.

Hey there friend, One major suggestion, most of them come zipped so save them to a differant custom folder, or whatever, and then open up and move it to mydocuments/rct3/parks and put the files in there! should have no problem then, if thats not the problem respond back.

That doesn't sound like the problem DC. The program is crashing for some reason. I would normally act surprised but the RCT saga continues.

Well you must understand if It was put in the wrong directory it could be the problem I wasn't suggesting thats whats wrong, It was only an idea, If it was something else, well then I'm sure he'll say so.

Yeah I put it into that exact folder and it hasn't worked!

Make sure you put it in the right directory. If you put it in parks, try putting it in scenarios, or vice versa.

to add on to GamRCFreak, some people save their parks as a saved game, and some scenario. Which can be quite confusing at times. ;)

I've tried all of that... I think the game is just crap (I have to think about that LOL)

Im not much of a computer expert but when i download a scenerio, all i get is a notepad. I dont know how to load into a game. Can someone help me?

You should be able to right click it and there should be somthing that says "open with". Go there and find RCT3.

Another way is to double click it and a window might come up and you should click on open, then open with, then select file from list, and RCT3 should be somewhere on the list.

Yea, not exactly sure how to open a park but I'm pretty sure when you download it move it to mydocuments/rct3/parks, when you open up the game go to sandbox mode, and load game, Although If its a scenario, they have a differant directory I think...I'll get back to that one.... Still seems like a pain though.
