I don't think I've been on that ride since I was 12. Wow... that was a really long time ago.

It was really hot the day I rode it so it was nice because it was in the shade and it was relaxing. Overall though it is an OK ride.

It's one of those "hey we're walking past this to get to a better ride, lets just do it for ____s and giggles"

I'm glad its open again. Wow - a reason to return to Six Flags ... maybe I'll take some SlimFast with me and give it out for free ...

Does anyone have pictures of the new trains?

Went to CB 02 but got addicted to The Flying Eagles.
That is the best ride on the planet.

thats nice to know, I have not been on this one yet..
The trains are not new, just been through a rehab. I think they are better now. New harnesses and even the seats are more comfortable, to me anyway.

Now I too can make my first voyage to SF "whoa!". I hope the rehab included more padding, at least to eliminate that edge where everyone's shoulder blades hit.

Great Im glad it is running.
A few things though:
-Are both trains on the ride now?
-What significant changes have been made to the breaking system?
-What actually has been done to the trains?
-Does it finally have an automatic release system?
I was up there tonight and their are some differences. The restraint system is still manual with the pedals, but let me tell you the ops ran to get everyone unlocked and locked. The pedals are new as are the restraints. It was time they replaced em. It was very smooth as usual and the breaks felt basically the same. I am very happy to have seen it return. I'm gonna have to make up for lost time :)

Why was it closed in the first place??
Dumpster- It was closed in the first place, to rehab it. Could it have operated longer without rehabing? Probably. But they wanted to do it this year, to preserve it in the long run.

Rumors (which are probably true, but yet to be seen) is that the harnesses will/should be able to open up all at once instead of using the foot pedals. They possiblly could have fitted the trains for this but not the underneath of the station yet, or are still working on that. In the meantime they can run Double Loop.

While I haven't had the chance to look under the station or have the luxury of riding it yet. I have been up there A LOT while all of it was going on. I can tell you as of this past weekend. They only have the yellow train on.

As for the ride, these are my thoughts:

In the Back seat you can get some great air time on the first hill.

I like the newly added tunnel.

The pullout and "long ramp" back up make you feel like you're going to launch over Serial Thriller :)

It's definetely one of the smoothest Arrow's around!

Good pacing in the loops with a nice helix after it followed by a pop into the brake run.

Not a bad coaster to have in one's back yard.

Just my 3 cents ;)
