The laser light shows and fireworks will end at Dorney Park & WWK, but a new ride unavailable anywhere else in the nation could be installed in their place for next season, according to John Albino VP & GM of DP.
In addition, the park plans to tear down and rebuild the Center Stage outdoor theater.
The stage will be built on the south side of the theater, which will be next to the food stands.
The new, as yet unnamed, ride will be built where the 71-foot laser screen is, near Whitewater Landing and the Hercules roller coaster.
The hydraulic ride consists of 2 57-foot-high swinging arms with 24 seats attached at the base.
The arms rotate and swing the riders up 67 feet high.
The riders will swing into a pit at the base of the ride.
The only other ride like it is at an amusement park in Europe.
The article goes on about some other stuff, but thats basically it. Does anybody know what the ride is?

It is a Zamperla hawk (I think that is it's trade name.) It's what the Aero 360 at Kennywood is.

It's the Zamperla Hawk 48....the number being the amount of passengers it holds total. Looks pretty cool. I can only imagine that the laser light show will be heading to MIA. We are supposed to get one so I'm sure that's where it will be coming from.

We will all see when the ride is officially approved by the township and they release the plans.
