If you need discount tickets I saw some at Turkey Hill minute markets. I think they were for $5 off maybe $10.

Hello, My name is Dan and I'm a coasterholic.
:) Let me turn on my sales pitch again...
...no, wait. Better yet, check this thread for hotel info:

As far as the park itself goes, this is our first (and probably only) year in Allentown so my experience on goes as far as this season. So far this year the crowds have been very low, but I'd expect that to change soon with school letting out and the summer vacation season kicking into high gear.
Dorney has some nice coasters.
Talon is a B&M invert that easily ranks with the best of them. Plus it can give small airtime in spots which is just great on inverted coasters. Definitely get a ride at night when it really performs.
Steel Force is another top notch ride. My experience shows that the front rides much better than the back. Lots of air on this one.
Dominator is a run of the mill S&S tower. They all get to be about the same after you do enough of them. If you like them, you'll like Dominator. I still maintain that for thrills you do the drop and for fun you do the launch.
Thunderhawk is a great old woodie (until you hit those trims on the bunny hops at the end) and usually doesn't have too big a line. Heck, I've gotten four solo runs this season during regular park hours.
Hercules takes every bad element possible on a wooden coaster and combines it into one ultraspectacular crapfest. (just my opinion, your mileage may vary).
The Wild Mouse is heavily braked but makes for a decent family ride - my 4 year old loves it.
Laser is a great Schwartzkopf design - tons of G's into the loops (gotta love the rounder loops - is rounder a word?)
Woodstock's Express, Little Laser and Dragon Coaster are all "kiddie" rides. Although you need to do one lap on the Dragon Coaster. I have fun just sitting in that back section of the park watching smart aleck kids and unamused adults hop on and then realise it packs a bit more of a punch that it looks like. The faces are priceless.
Dorney is a nice park that you don't hear much about. If Cedar Fair drops a few more bucks into the place they'll certainly earn a place on the map - they already deserve it.

Perhaps they should take the wood from Hercules and use it to fix Mean Streak. ;)
