Dorney Park Thunderhawk model on ebay

If anyone is intrested, I have a model of Thunderhawk listed on ebay. Just search for Dorney Park, you can't miss it.
Uhhh, isn't this a major violation of the TOS? Just so you know in the future, solicitation is prohibited.

However, that's a great looking model.

Thanks Danimales, thought it may be, I wasn't sure if the topic might get deleted or something.

Just thought someone may be intrested. I didn't see it listed under unacceptable topics, but then saw solicitations listed elsewhere, but thought maybee if was different if it was coaster related.

Oh well, if it doesn't belong here, and get deleted, I'll understand, and I'm sorry. *** Edited 1/30/2004 4:09:10 AM UTC by scraperguy99***

I hear ya, Scraperguy; that's a fine line to walk. I understand the no solicitations part, but if it's coaster related, then what? I'm not sure. On one hand, if it's coaster related, then something like this could be allowed; I'm sure it would spark some interest. On the other hand, allowing coaster-related solicitations could lead to some major spamming and noise I'm sure the mods don't want to deal with.

Jeff? What's the verdict here?

I don't think this is solicitation at all. Scaperguy is not the one selling the model, he just found it and thought it was interesting, which it is. John Hunt's models are excellent, and it is surprissing to see one up on eBay. Actually, the price right now is very good considering how much these models go for when new.

John's a good friend of mine and he just sent me some pix last night of the Revere Beach Cyclone. He's putting the finishing touches on it now but it's 99% complete and plans on showing it at Eastcoaster next weekend. He built the Cyclone for the Revere Beach Historical Society to put in the museum there. Kadoos for my model building buddy on Long Island!

Thats cool. Can't wait to see the infamous Cyclone :)

Where is the Eastcoaster next week? How much do his models usually sell for?
Unfortunately, it is too late to register for Eastcoaster but all the info you need can be found here:

John's website is: www.rollercoastermodels.com if you want to see more of his work. Contact him for prices as he's always building for clients. He prices the models individually according to how complex they are. His email is on his webpage.
