Dorney Park in 10 years.....

I was just wondering what all of you think Dorney will be like in 10 years?

I think they will have at least 2 more major coasters. A wooden and some kind of steel. Also they will probably expand the park back past SF. They actually do have alot of land back there. And guess what? They have trees back there too! Hopefully CF will put in alot more trees within the next 10 years. And BIG trees too, so you can sit on a bench in the shade. They will definetly have a couple more flats rides, not sure what kind though. And hopefully they will do a little more landscaping, it isnt too bad now, but it could use some work. Also, I hope they put the sky ride back in. Maybe even going from the bottom of the hill to the top so you don't have to walk up it.

Please post your ideas of what Dorney will be like in 10 years!

I forgot to mention that Dorney is getting 168 trees next year, but I think they are just going around TALON. They need more BIG trees around the rest of the park.

Cedar Fair has noticed Dorney's lack of trees. Anyone notice that this past year there were many trees planted in the parking lot? The lot looks alot nicer, and there are new trees on the new midway, however they are still young. Dorney will be much different in 10 years......much better too :)

Cedar Fair rules......except in regards to WoF
10 years is a long time for a park. I imangine thats at least 2 possibly 3 new coasters or more. Not to mention several flat rides. I still get sad not seeing the bumper cars in the middle of the Thunderhawks "Coaster" station. The great old Lussee's too. I though that was the coolest place for bumper cars. While in line for the Dogems you could feel the vibration of the coaster train beneath you. I also miss the Iceberg /Metorite "indoor tea cup" ride they had. Any chance of it coming back? I think if they add a good twister like a GCI and possibly another B&M looper sitdown or floorless Dorney could be another great coaster destination point in PA. More flat rides wouldn't hurt either. I know Cedar Fair put LOTS of money in Dorney in the past 6+ years they owned it but it still needs improvements. With all the trees there adding Dorney shouldn't look like a wasteland anymore. After all Rome wasn't built in a day.
