I know they have a cool topspin, it was themed a *bit* for Halloween last year (our first visit). They also have, from what I hear, the best "drivers" on any Skyscraper around. Other notables include a Mangels' Whip....but I'll let the "regulars" give you the inside info....

Go to the Bumper Cars. For some reason I loved those. They are located at the park of the park I think near Steel Forces turnaround and the Go-karts.

Don't pass up their Whip. Original Whips are rare now and are much better that the new ones.
A topspin, Meteor White Water Landin Dominater......Go here http://www.dorneypark.com/rides/index.cfm

ladies and gentlemen, due to an increase in line jumping, people caught cutting in line will no longer be ejected from the park. u will be ejected from the ride

Yes, definitely do the bumper cars. They are very fun and you get a fairly long ride time. Make sure you ride Dominator, I enjoyed that.

Dorney is my park i'll let ya in on it all.....the whip is like 88 years old this year, and it is running better then ever. the enterprise is a good ride here because most of the operators will modify the ride and leave you up a long time. Hang time is worth rideing...the new ride metor dosen't look like much for 2002 but is alot of fun....i rode last weekend and it was great...the new tilt-a-whirl is awesome, it is faster than any i've seen. the dragon coaster may be a kidde coaster but is worth cramping your legs in for and of coarse everyone has to ride thunder canyon becasue that is where i'm gonna be working this summer...WORD

Flat rides? What are those? :)

Men are like parking spaces... the good ones are all taken and the rest are handicapped or too far away.

Exactly. Not that I'm against flat rides or anything, but every time I go to Dorney, I divide my time between Thunderhawk and Steel Force (and now Talon). The bumper cars are supposed to be really good even though they're not the Lusse Auto Skooters that they have in storage, and I can't imagine anyone passing up a classic Whip!

For me, Dorney Park is about three good coasters, which isn't a bad thing at all since very few parks of average size have three good ones.

We did ride the log flume, which was cool because of the layout and the variable sprinklers on the ride...Dominator, what can I say, another fabulous S&S tower....:). Rob is right in saying that passing a Mangels' whip is a crime of sorts. ThunderHawk alone was worth the visit, and then Talon turns out to be one of my fav Beemers. Steel Force did disappoint a bit, but Lazer more than made up for it.....

bill, still loving those Schwarzkopf G-machines...:)
