Dorney Park Flying Dutchman?

Does anyone know where Dorney Park's Flying Dutchman is now? I read at RCDB that it is beileved to be operating in either Singapore or the Philipenes. I'd really appreciate any information or links to pictures of this coaster.

Not sure where it went to... some say Singapore or the Philipenes, but I also heard South America. Who knows.

You can see Flying Dutchman on the hill above Thunderhawk in the first pic.

DCA has a rocket ride just like the one dorney used to have. it is not a very good ride and closes down in 5 mph winds.

Once again I'm ageing myself, but, I rode that as a little kid. It was fairly close to the main road also.

Same here... really aging myself too... I rode it when I was 14 yrs old (1980). I can remember seeing a news story about is opening on the local news (WGAL 8 out of Lancaster PA). It was a big deal... this "huge steel coaster" coming to PA. My, how the perception of "huge steel coaters" changes over 2 decades.

I remember riding the Flying Dutchman as well. It was located where the feris wheel is now. Although I don't know where it went. Another coaster lost in the void of amusement parks.

Too bad I never got to ride it, I didn't get over my fear of coasters until after it was gone.
