I went to Dorney after work to get our season pass vouchers. Driving into Allentown on I-78 Steel Force was all you could really see. Not any more Talon sticks out even more with the bright yellow paint and looks just as tall as Steel Force from the highway. Talons first drop looks as if it will rival Raptors twisting 180 degrees. They are using the parkinglot next to Wildwater Kingdom for the layout yard. Looks to me that the crane they are using can reach the yard without having to ship the parts closer on a flatbed. Lots of pieces their but I don't think it's all there yet. After taking a few pics I drove to the backside of the park (behind Steel Force)to buy my passes. I love driving bach here since it's the only place you can really see the big drop and turn over the lake on Hercules. Eventhough it delivers a bad ride it still looks impressive. About a thousand Canadian geese are spending the winter on the lake. After stopping in my car to let a few cross the street I made my way to the main office (right behind the Thunderhawk station). Got our pass vouchers in no time. I couldn't really see anything else going on at Dorney other than Talon. I did see the swan paddleboats in the employee parking lot and an old Lazer car as I was leaving. Just wish I was there to ride Steel Force a few times instead of just getting our passes. Oh well what do you expect for mid December. :)
