Knobel's, Dorney, and Hershey are all fine parks. Don't rule Hershey out on price. It costs no more to speak of than Dorney. Just make sure that you don't stay in a hotel that is actually in Hershey. They are very expensive. There are some very reasonable hotels on the interstate north of the park
That said, Knobels is so unique that I might direct you towards it. It has a fantastic collection and vintage rides and 2 great woodies. The air time on Phoenix is almost beyond belief. They also have the best bumper cars and old fashioned ride through fun house in the country. And, it's great fun just watching the kids enjoy all of the 50 year old kiddie rides in excellent condition. And, of course, it's probably the only amusement park in the country with food so good that you might go there just for the eats.
I agree...listen to Arrow Guy!!! You wont know the meaning of fun till you go to the PPP!!!!!

I dissagree with Knoebels being more fun than Dorney Park. I liked Knoebels and have visited several times, however I found it to be more like a carnival than an amusement park. There is almost no landscaping, walkways, or grass. There's only gravel. "Amusement Park" has the word "Park" in it.
The food was very good and the rides were pretty good, especially the ones mentioned in the other posts(and I really love Twister). I am not saying I do not like the park, I am only saying that I would enjoy other nearby parks better.
It's worth a visit, but so are the others.

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.
