Dorney: Does it need more thrill rides?

Look, I'm not bashing Dorney or anything here, but I don't think the park has much to offer. Yes, I know Talon and Steel Force are amazing thrill rides. They rank very high in my book, but besides those two, what else does an adrenaline junkie have to do there? Yes, I am also aware of Dominator, but I don't find it very thrilling. Dorney has some good rides, but I just want to know what everyone  else thinks, is it work the 33 dollars?
I think that Talon alone is worth $33 dollars. I think that they have a decent selection of rides. A new flat ride would do the park good. They don't have much in the way of very thrilling flat rides(unless you consider Dominator a flat ride). I have also heard some rumors about them getting one next year.

Where has the magic gone in the name Disney?

I think they really need a great wood coaster. I enjoy Thunderhawk, but Hercules need some work. I woudl ike to see a new GCI or CCI there. Overall I enjoy Dorney, and I think its worth the price of admission. Overall a decent park. They have a great water park too. Although its been a long time since they have added anything to it. I enjoy the Halloweekends. Its only $18 then..;)
Yeah, that's true. I completely forgot about Wildwater Kingdom. With that, 33$ is a value!

I enjoyed Dorney more than I did PKD just two days later.

Size doesn't matter, it's how you use it. I will do my best to return to Dorney next year without a doubt.

Dorney has great flat rides, including everything from a vintage whip, to a Huss Top Spin. And let's not forget that Dorney has one of the most extreme rides ever made-the Skyscraper upcharge attraction. It doesn't get much scarier.

Dorney is defintely worth the value.  Not to mention that discount coupons are always easy to find.  Last time I went this past October, they even gave us the discount even though I didn't have a enough coupons on me for our group.  How cool is that?

The fact that Cedar Fair owns Dorney gives me a lot of confidence that the park will continue to get better and better.

Jeff... if you come out this direction for DP, perhaps that would be a good time to have a CB gathering? :)

I got to SEE Dorney (and HP) last year, unfortunately when they were closed...but anybody that knows me is aware the camera was working OT getting pics of the parks.  Lucky me, I got to go to Dorney during this year's PPP trip - GREAT park.  Sure Herc needs work, what Dinn-Summers doesn't (answer: TR).  But Laser is an improved, double-loop version of my beloved Scorpion here at BGT.  Steel Force didn't live up to my expectations, but I definitely need another spin or two to make a fairer assessment.  Talon WAY exceeded expectations - those who compare it to an SLC must've been on some TREMENDOUS SLC's (not the ones I've been on).  Great flats, an excellent S&S, an original Whip, a Maurer-Sohne Mouse (second only to Reverchon IMO), then the icing on the cake...one Heck of a Schmeck.  ThunderHawk ROCKED.  Until the following day at Knoebel's, it momentarily held the spot of "my fav out-n-back woodie". (note: Fig-8's count as out-n-backs for me, unless they are twister designs)...Oh, well, records ARE made to be broken...
The ONLY coaster there I didn't ride was the Lil' Laser - and that double-loop looked AWESOME...LOL!  Dorney is just FINE for me, I'll be back next year...save seat 1-3 on the "Hawk" for me...;~)!

Well, one thing Rollergator I'll have to tell you is that you missed a great Mack mouse at HP. You wouldn't think so highly of the one at DP afterwards.
